Physical Therapy Services:

Scoliosis Rehab Inc
  • Musculoskeletal Evaluation.
  • X-ray film review and postural assessment.
  • Classification of curve according to the Schroth Method.
  • Education on scoliosis - which activities and postures can add to torsional forces in daily life.
  • Specific exercises-based on each individual curve.
  • Exercise progression as skill level increases.
  • Rotational breathing training.
  • Specific Posture, Body Mechanics and activities of daily living (ADL) training.
  • Coordination exercises to help integrate new movement patterns.
  • Pain Control techniques: manual therapy including myofascial release, modalities as needed.
Studio B Pilates
Studio B Pilates is located onsite at Scoliosis Rehab Inc. Pilates when used by the Scoliosis patient is a therapeutic exercise practice that teaches core strength, elongation, spinal stabilization as well as proper breathing techniques.

Amy Beversdorf, Pilates Practitioner has collaborated with the highly specialized Physical Therapists at Scoliosis Rehab to develop a Pilates Exercise Program designed to be used in conjunction with the Schroth Method for scoliosis rehabilitation.

Referral to local physician group arranged on an as needed basis. Local physician support is provided by:
